These tips work with almost all fountain pen inks – the only exceptions are the more experimental ones, like shimmer or iridescent varieties. If you’re after a waterproof, archival option, Tom's Studio recommends the Sailor Kiwa-guro; a 50ml bottle will keep you going for years. When in doubt, stick to inks made specifically for fountain pens, or choose a dye-based formula.
