Besides the nib sizes, which vary from extra fine to extra broad through to calligraphy nibs, they distinguish by the materials used and special processing techniques.
Thanks to the screwing mechanism in Kaweco writing instruments of the middle and higher price range, the nib section can be changed quickly and therefore enables the use of a wide variety of nibs during the lifetime of a Kaweco fountain pen.
