As early as 1905, Kaweco manufactured the first metal writing implements. What was then made of silver or gold-plated brass is now made of aluminum. A high-quality aluminum processed using CNC technology is refined in further processes and thus receives its silky, hardened surface.
The metallic body made of aluminum of the highest quality gives these writing implements their special feel. The fine surface gives the series elegance. Due to the low weight, the writing instruments are ideal for on the go. The color versions include black, anthracite, silver, as well as the Stonewashed models in the blue used look and the shiny RAW, which develops a patina with fine signs of wear particularly quickly due to the untreated aluminum.
There are five different nib sizes to choose from for the fountain pen, from extra-fine to extra-broad. While the extra-fine nib (EF) is particularly good for small and delicate handwriting, the extra-broad nib (BB) is often used for large, dramatic signatures. We recommend the spring size M for beginners. All springs are made in Germany.
In addition, you can choose between the writing systems mechanical pencil, rollerball and ballpoint pen with or without touch stylus.
To complement the writing instrument, Kaweco offers matching refills, inks in eleven bright colors and elegant clips in gold, bronze, silver and black. Our leather cases for one or two pens in the colors black, brandy, creamy espresso, tender mint or chilli pepper are ideal for protecting these writing instruments on the go.
