Tachikawa Pen Nib Holder - Model 36

Tachikawa's T-36 Pen Holder is an upgraded version of the classic T-25, featuring a longer body and a firm rubber grip for comfort and control. The body is made of natural wood with clear lacquer that highlights the wood grain. With a nib mounted, the T-36 is very well balanced, and several different hand positions are possible with the gently contoured grip.

Like all Tachikawa pen nib holders, the T-36 features a Tachikawa universal nib mount. Unlike the Western style dip pen mount with a large, open hole and metal prongs, the plastic press-to-fit Tachikawa mount is rustproof and harder to gum up with ink. It also holds the nib much more securely than metal nib mounts, which lose their tensile strength when used repeatedly.
