Ori started with a simple question: why are the pens we use every day so… disposable? Permanent markers are endlessly useful. They label boxes, personalise school kits, organise workshops and bring ideas to life on almost any surface. But they’re also designed to be short-lived – dried out, thrown away and replaced time and time again. Tom's Studio thought there had to be a better way.

So Tom's Studio reimagined the everyday permanent marker from the ground up – into something refillable, modular and genuinely lovely to use. A marker designed not just for practical jobs and quick fixes, but for creative projects, messy desks, workshop benches and ideas with staying power. The Ori Permanent pairs water-based permanent ink with Japanese-made fibre tips to create a tool that marks confidently on glass, ceramic, wood, metal, packaging, plastics and more – all without the harsh fumes typically associated with permanent markers.
